A form of anti-wrinkle facial treatment is the use of a cosmetic product seeking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by smoothing the skin, or even to combat their appearance. This is not a miracle solution because wrinkles can appear over the years, due to the intrinsic ageing of the skin, but also external factors which can accentuate them (overexposure to the sun, tobacco, pollution, etc.) . This is why it is important to choose products well suited to your situation among targeted anti-wrinkle, smoothing or regenerating treatments. Without forgetting daily sun protection!

How are deep wrinkles distinguished?

With age, collagen production decreases and the skin loses firmness and elasticity. Overexposure to the sun (photoaging), tobacco, pollution accentuate this phenomenon: wrinkles become more marked, the skin becomes looser. Deep wrinkles can then be visible at different levels of the face: forehead, eye contour, cheeks, lip contour, neck, décolleté. They are often accompanied by sagging skin around the oval of the face.

Pure Active: what is the difference from a Serum?

In its mode of use, Pure Active is applied like a serum, to cleansed skin and before your face cream, to provide specific care. But, unlike a serum, a Pure Active is only composed of a single active molecule, perfectly dosed, which very precisely targets a skin problem. It is therefore ultra safe because there is no risk of a cocktail effect (stacking of different active ingredients). And our international INSkin patent allows it to penetrate where it is needed in the skin.

Pure Active: should I apply it before or after my face cream?

Always before your moisturizer, but especially on well-cleansed skin. Thanks to their drip bottle, the Pure Actives are applied in small quantities, where necessary (see detailed instructions per product).

How many Pure Actives can I apply to my skin at most?

Accepted Answer

It is recommended to apply only 2 Pure Actives at a time on the face (1 active after the other, on cleansed skin and before your treatment cream). In most cases, treating one problem at a time with one Pure Active is an excellent solution. There is no point in adding active ingredients to your skin, at the risk of over-treating it.

What is the duration of use of a Pure Active?

A Pure Active is used on the face as a "cure" for periods varying between 3 to 8 weeks depending on the active ingredient and the desired benefit. This is why we have nestled them in small, anti-UV containers, suitable for occasional use. To respect their effectiveness, do not store them for more than 6 months, away from heat and light. What is the difference between a Pure Skincare and a Pure Active?

A Pure Skincare is a product that does not contain any active ingredient to take care of your skin on a daily basis without unnecessarily attacking it. Pure Actives, on the other hand, are products with targeted action that treat skin problems when necessary (1 active, 1 problematic). Healthy skin, without any particular problems, does not need Pure Active.

Do your products contain preservatives?

In order to protect our formulas from contamination, we use a necessary dose of natural preservatives (black radish extracts, potassium sorbate or even capryloyl glycine). We also choose ‘airless’ bottles, pumps or tubes in order to reduce the risk of contamination and therefore the quantity of preservatives.

Do your products contain perfume?

Accepted Answer

Our Pure Actives do not contain perfume, as do certain other care products such as the Moisturizing Eye Contour Fluid, the Melting Exfoliating Jelly or the Express Purifying Mask. Most of our Pure Care products are very lightly scented to provide a little sensoriality while respecting the skin. We rigorously choose our perfumes (specially developed by us), without allergens or sensitizing substances.

Are your products tested on animals?

No, in accordance with current European cosmetic regulations, our products and the ingredients they contain are not tested on animals. The perfect tolerance of our formulas has been assessed by expert toxicologists. And of course our products have been tested under dermatological and ophthalmological control if necessary.

Are your products Made in France?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all our products are designed, formulated, produced and tested in Aix-en-Provence in the laboratories of our parent company, NAOS.

Are your products vegan?

Accepted Answer

Most of our products are vegan. Those which are not are formulated from animal raw materials selected for their specific action on the skin, such as propolis (product from the hive). However, in accordance with current European cosmetic regulations, our products are not tested on animals.

Are your products silicone-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, that&#x27;s right, our products do not contain silicone. Firstly because silicone is not compatible with our biomimetic formulation (we only use ingredients with perfect affinity for the skin). But also because they are difficult to biodegrade and therefore toxic for the aquatic organisms which ingest them.

Are your products mineral oil free?

Indeed, mineral oils are generally used for their ability to retain water in tissues and prevent dehydration. But our skin cannot fully assimilate them, so, in accordance with our biomimetic formulation (we only use ingredients with perfect affinity for the skin), we do not put them in our products.
